About the project
Reputable is a reputation platform for Web3 developers, built on a simple idea: your work should speak for you.
In Web3, most builders go by a handle, not a name, and a CV proves very little. What does prove something is public: the code a developer commits, the protocols that code ends up in, and the value those protocols hold. Reputable’s founders could already score all of it. What they did not have was a product that made the score believable.
We designed Reputable from the first sketch to launch: the web app developers sign in to with GitHub, in dark and light, and the website that brings them there. Over three months we worked alongside the founding team, from a ranking model in a spreadsheet to a design system ready for their developers.

A score on its own is just a number, and in a space full of bots, farmed stars and anonymous accounts, people have learned not to trust numbers. So every figure in Reputable had to lead somewhere: to the commits behind it, the protocols it touched, and the peers who vouch for it.
And it had to work for both sides of the table: the developer who wants their work to count, and the team, protocol or investor trying to find the right builder without weeks of asking around.
The product

Four places, each answering one question: who is building, what have they built, and can I trust them?
Every developer gets a profile built from their public work: a score out of 100, a rank, a tier, and a year of commits laid out day by day. The profile is there before its owner arrives, so a developer signs in with GitHub and claims the one that is already theirs.
Every ranked developer in one table, searchable and filtered by label, with their score, commits, value enabled and the protocols they have shipped to. A trending list beside it shows who is climbing this week.
The same lens, turned on projects. Each protocol shows the developers behind it, its repositories, commits and holders, and opens in its own tab, so a researcher can keep several side by side.
Tick any two developers and see them on one screen: their skills on a single chart, and their score, commits and value enabled head to head.
The idea
Show the working
A score is only as good as what sits under it. Every number in Reputable is one click from its evidence: the commit heatmap, the highlighted commits, and the protocols a developer has shipped to.
Claim, don’t sign up
Nobody starts at zero. A profile is built from public work before its owner arrives, so signing in with GitHub means claiming a reputation that already exists, not filling in a form.
Peers, not just numbers
Code shows what someone built; peers show what they are like to build with. Endorsements and written peer reviews sit on every profile, beside the numbers, not buried under them.
Dense, but calm
A data product for people who read tables all day. We kept it dense on purpose, with one type scale, one set of score chips and generous rows, and drew every screen in dark and light.
Impact
A score developers share, and teams trust
In the first three months after launch, developers claimed their profiles faster than the founders had planned for, and teams used compare to shortlist builders before a first call.
