About the project
Usarion designs and builds products for founders. For this one, the founder was us.
Our old website had fallen behind the studio. Ten of its fifteen pages were broken or redirected, and not one of them showed up when founders searched for what we do. We had rewritten our positioning around seven services, and the old site could not carry it.
So we rebuilt it the way we would build a founder’s first version: a month of design, then 24 days from the first line of code to every page running on our own server, designed and built by the same team.

The brief
A first version we could put in front of people fast, without it looking like a first version.

That is what founders ask us for, and it is what we wanted for ourselves: the new positioning on screen within weeks, looking like the work we sell from the first day.
It also had to keep up with us. Our services, words and work change often, so the team had to be able to edit every page, and the site had to run on our own server. For most founders’ marketing sites we build in Webflow or Framer. This one we built in code, so AI could build and ship every part of it.
How we built it

The people who drew every page also built it. AI wrote the code; we made every decision.
Every page was designed in Figma before a line of code was written: thirteen page designs and the component library behind them. The design was the spec, down to the spacing.
The copy follows our positioning research: which services lead, what each page is called, and the phrases founders actually search for.
AI wrote the code, page by page, from the design and the research. We reviewed every page at phone and desktop width, sent back what was not right, and threw away what did not earn its place. Trying an idea took an afternoon, so we tried more of them and kept only the best.
Nothing counted as finished until it was on screen: at every width from a phone to a wide monitor, on real phones and tablets, and with motion measured in a real browser rather than judged from a still. The AI is not allowed to call its own work done without showing proof.
What we built
Fourteen pages, a few templates
Six service pages share one template, and so do the case studies and articles. The next service is a page of words, not a new build.
A CMS the team runs
Every word and picture can be changed by the team, with the page previewing beside the form at six screen widths. Nobody waits on a developer to fix a typo.
Pictures that look after themselves
Every upload is resized and compressed to the smallest file that still looks the same. Our pictures got a third lighter without anyone touching them.
Our own server
The site runs on our own server. A release goes out with one command, only from work that is saved and backed up, and it only counts once the live site answers.
What we learned
The check said yes. The page said no.

Early in the build, an automated check reported a hover effect as working. On the live page, it did nothing. We caught it by looking, and changed how we check: from then on, every click and hover was tested with real input, the way a person uses the page.
That is the point of the way we work. AI makes the building fast. It only becomes a good product when the people who designed it are the ones checking it.
Impact

Since launch, the site has done what the old one could not. Founders land on the page for the service they need, and more of them get in touch.
