What we do for Los Angeles teams

Seven services, one senior team

Everything between an idea and a product people trust. Designed, built, launched and branded.

MVP Development

The first working version of your product: scoped, designed, built and launched in six to ten weeks. Small enough to ship fast, solid enough to build the next version on.

UI/UX Design Services

Design capacity for products that already exist. Flows, screens, states and design systems, including the unglamorous screens that decide whether anyone stays past week one.

Mobile App Design

iOS and Android apps designed from first flows through to store launch, with eight shipped mobile products behind the page.

Brand Identity Design

Identity, guidelines and the pitch deck that raises the round. Built so a seed-stage company reads as one that will still be here in three years.

SaaS Website Design

A SaaS site has one job: make a stranger understand the product in eight seconds and book a call in thirty. Built in Webflow or Framer so your team can edit it.

Design services that scale

From a first audit to a product that grows

01

UX audit

A review of the screens costing you the most: where sign-ups stall, where support tickets start, and what to fix first. Often the right first step before a redesign.

02

User research

Interviews and usability tests with the people who use the product, booked in UK hours, so decisions rest on evidence rather than the loudest opinion in the room.

03

UI/UX strategy

Which problems to solve first, which screens they touch and what success looks like, agreed in writing before design starts.

04

Wireframes and prototypes

Clickable flows you can put in front of users and investors in days, so the expensive decisions are tested before they are built.

05

Scaling support

A design system, documented components and a team that stays on after launch, so every new feature looks like it belongs.

Building for Los Angeles

What a product for Los Angeles audiences has to get right.

Under FCC rules, shows that aired on US television with captions must keep them when they are delivered online. Caption controls, size and placement are designed into the player, tested to WCAG 2.2 AA.

California's automatic renewal law says a subscription accepted online must be cancellable online, through a clear link or button. Sign-up, renewal reminders and cancellation are designed as one flow.

Californians can opt out of the sale or sharing of their data through a browser setting such as Global Privacy Control, and can limit how sensitive details are used. Those choices sit in settings people can find, not in a footer.

When a product exists to show someone's work, the work leads every screen. Video, images and profiles load fast, sit large and stay easy to update.

What we design

Products we design for Los Angeles teams

Industries

Sectors Los Angeles builds in

  • 01

    Entertainment and streaming

Viewers decide in seconds whether a title is worth pressing play on.

    • Pages that load fast and read well
    • Navigation that earns the next story
    • Subscriptions without dark patterns
  • 02

    Creators and studios

Studios and creators need a site that shows the work before it says a word.

    • Work shown large and fast
    • A portfolio that is easy to update
    • Enquiries with the brief built in
  • 03

    Consumer apps

A consumer app earns its place on the home screen in the first week, or loses it.

    • A first session that shows the value
    • Habits built on small, clear wins
    • Notifications people keep switched on
  • 04

    eCommerce and D2C

Direct brands have no shop floor, so the product page does the selling.

    • Product pages that answer questions early
    • Checkout with fewer steps
    • Layouts designed for the phone first
  • 05

    Fashion and beauty

Fashion and beauty brands need a site that feels like their store.

    • A site that matches the shopfront
    • Stock, sizes and delivery shown early
    • Checkout with fewer steps
  • 06

    Health and wellness

Health and wellness apps ask for personal details, so every screen has to earn that trust.

    • Flows tested with real users, not assumed
    • Accessible type, contrast and controls
    • Sensitive data handled with care in the design

Side by side

How we compare with a typical agency

Team

Usarion

Senior designers and developers on your project, start to finish.

A typical agency

A senior team at the pitch, a junior one on the work.

Local fit

Usarion

Captions, online cancellation and California privacy choices designed in from the first screen.

A typical agency

Caption controls and cancel flows left until a complaint arrives.

AI

Usarion

AI speeds up the routine work. People make every decision.

A typical agency

Either no AI, or AI output passed on unchecked.

Ownership

Usarion

Figma files, code and design system handed over, yours to keep.

A typical agency

Files and know-how that stay with the agency.

After launch

Usarion

The same team stays on for new features and fixes.

A typical agency

A new team, or a new contract, for every change.

Why Usarion

Why Los Angeles teams choose us

  1. Your evening is our morning

Dhaka is 14 hours ahead of Los Angeles in winter and 13 in summer, so a note sent as you log off is waiting at the start of our day.

  2. Progress by breakfast

Our working day falls in your night, so each Los Angeles morning starts with the design further along than you left it.

  3. Inside your tools

Your Slack, your Figma, your repository. We join the way your team already works.

  4. One team, start to finish

The people on your first call are the people who design and build it. Nothing is handed on.

  5. Design and code together

We design the screens and ship the code behind them, so nothing is lost between the two.

  6. Proven across 200+ projects

Brand, product and web work shipped across SaaS, AI, fintech, healthcare and ecommerce.

How we work

Four steps, from brief to hand-off

  1. Step 01

    Discover

    Understand before drawing.

    • We read your deck, analytics and support tickets
    • One working session on what a good outcome looks like
    • Two to three days, not two to three weeks
  2. Step 02

    Plan

    Agree the scope in writing.

    • Screens listed and sequence set
    • Price fixed before work starts
    • A plan you can hold us to
  3. Step 03

    Design

Design where you can see it.

    • Work lands in Figma as it happens
    • You comment, we iterate the same week
    • Nothing unveiled at the end
  4. Step 04

    Hand off

    Built to be picked up.

    • Named layers and real components
    • Documented tokens and a walkthrough
    • Development by the same team, if you want it
