Building for Manchester
Personal data in the UK is governed by UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, and complaints go to the ICO in Wilmslow, Cheshire. Consent, cookie choices and data requests are designed to hold up if anyone asks.
MediaCity in Salford has studios for broadcasters, production companies and creative agencies. The apps, players and sites around that work have to load fast and read well on a phone, a laptop or a TV.
Public sector websites and apps must meet WCAG 2.2 AA under the 2018 accessibility regulations and publish an accessibility statement. We design and test to that standard from the first screen.
Since April 2025, UK consumer law bans drip pricing, where mandatory fees are added as a shopper moves through checkout. Product pages and baskets are designed to show the full price early.
