Senior designers and developers on your project, start to finish.

A typical agency

A senior team at the pitch, a junior one on the work.

Local fit

Usarion

A typical agency

Audit trails and access controls added after the first review.

AI

Usarion

AI speeds up the routine work. People make every decision.

A typical agency

What we do for Boston teams

Seven services, one senior team

Everything between an idea and a product people trust. Designed, built, launched and branded.

MVP Development

The first working version of your product: scoped, designed, built and launched in six to ten weeks. Small enough to ship fast, solid enough to build the next version on.

UI/UX Design Services

Design capacity for products that already exist. Flows, screens, states and design systems, including the unglamorous screens that decide whether anyone stays past week one.

Mobile App Design

iOS and Android apps designed from first flows through to store launch, with eight shipped mobile products behind the page.

SaaS Website Design

A SaaS site has one job: make a stranger understand the product in eight seconds and book a call in thirty. Built in Webflow or Framer so your team can edit it.

Design services that scale

From a first audit to a product that grows

01

UX audit

A review of the screens costing you the most: where sign-ups stall, where support tickets start, and what to fix first. Often the right first step before a redesign.

02

User research

Interviews and usability tests with the people who use the product, booked in UK hours, so decisions rest on evidence rather than the loudest opinion in the room.

03

UI/UX strategy

Which problems to solve first, which screens they touch and what success looks like, agreed in writing before design starts.

04

Wireframes and prototypes

Clickable flows you can put in front of users and investors in days, so the expensive decisions are tested before they are built.

05

Scaling support

A design system, documented components and a team that stays on after launch, so every new feature looks like it belongs.

Building for Boston

What a product built for Boston has to get right.

The Massachusetts eHealth Institute runs a Digital Health Sandbox Program, where digital health products are tested, validated and piloted. A product headed for a pilot needs a flow the study team can follow and instructions a patient can read first time.

The Massachusetts Life Sciences Center works to strengthen the state's place in life sciences, and software there often has to meet FDA rules on electronic records and signatures. A signed record shows the signer's name, the date and time, and what the signature means. Sign-off and history screens are designed to show that. Your legal adviser confirms which records the rule covers.

Boston's Building Emissions Reduction and Disclosure Ordinance asks the owner of each covered building to report its energy and water use every year. Tools for owners are designed so figures are entered, checked and reused next year. Your legal adviser confirms which buildings are covered.

Massachusetts security rules apply to anyone who owns or licenses personal information about a resident of the state. They ask for access limited to those who need it for their job, unique sign-ins, and a lock after repeated failed attempts. Roles and lockout screens match. Your legal adviser signs off the wording.

What we design

Products we design for Boston teams

Industries

Sectors Boston builds in

  • 01

    Life sciences and digital health

Researchers, clinicians and patients share a product, and each should see only their part.

    • Flows tested with real users, not assumed
    • Accessible type, contrast and controls
    • Sensitive data handled with care in the design
  • 02

    AI products

A first demo has to show what the model produced and where the person can step in.

    • Prompt, result and edit in one clear flow
    • States for waiting, failing and being unsure
    • Controls that keep the person in charge
  • 03

    Robotics and lab hardware

An operator watching a machine needs the one alarm that counts to be seen first.

    • Interfaces that hold up on the factory floor
    • Alarms and states nobody can miss
    • Data from many machines in one view
  • 04

    Climate and building energy

Energy and emissions data helps only when an owner can see what to fix first.

    • Complex data turned into clear choices
    • Charts people can read at a glance
    • Reports that stand up to scrutiny
  • 05

    Education

Schools and universities serve students, staff and parents, who sign in for different reasons.

    • A clear path for each kind of user
    • Progress people can see
    • Accessible for every learner
  • 06

    Fintech

People hand over savings when every screen shows where the money is and what happens next.

    • Onboarding and identity checks that keep people moving
    • Disclosures that are clear, not buried
    • Balances and risk made readable

Why Usarion

Why Boston teams choose us

  1. Your evening note, worked overnight

Dhaka is 11 hours ahead of Boston in winter and 10 in summer, so a note left at close of day is worked on while Boston sleeps.

  2. Ready for the reviewer's questions

Access levels, sign-off steps and history views are drawn at the wireframe, so a quality or security review finds them there.

  3. Inside your tools

Your Slack, your Figma, your repository. We join the way your team already works.

  4. One team, start to finish

The people on your first call are the people who design and build it. Nothing is handed on.

  5. Design and code together

We design the screens and ship the code behind them, so nothing is lost between the two.

  6. Proven across 200+ projects

Brand, product and web work shipped across SaaS, AI, fintech, healthcare and ecommerce.

How we work

Four steps, from brief to hand-off

  1. Step 01

    Discover

    Understand before drawing.

    • We read your deck, analytics and support tickets
    • One working session on what a good outcome looks like
    • Two to three days, not two to three weeks
  2. Step 02

    Plan

    Agree the scope in writing.

    • Screens listed and sequence set
    • Price fixed before work starts
    • A plan you can hold us to
  3. Step 03

    Design

Design where you can see it.

    • Work lands in Figma as it happens
    • You comment, we iterate the same week
    • Nothing unveiled at the end
  4. Step 04

    Hand off

    Built to be picked up.

    • Named layers and real components
    • Documented tokens and a walkthrough
    • Development by the same team, if you want it

Yes. Students, staff and parents each get their own route. Massachusetts student records rules ask schools to log who opens a record, so access history is designed in. Your legal adviser confirms what applies to you.

With a 30-minute call, then a written scope and a fixed price. Once the scope is signed, work starts within days, not weeks.

Each project is quoted once, from a written scope, and the price does not move unless the scope does.

Yes. We keep what works, audit what does not, and move the product forward in stages so your users are never left behind.

Yes. Front end and integrations, by the team that designed it. If you have developers we hand over instead, with a system they can build from.

Yes, and it is often the cheapest way to start. A short audit tells you which three screens are costing you the most, and whether you need a redesign or just a fix.
