Side by side

How we compare with a typical agency

Team

Usarion

Senior designers and developers on your project, start to finish.

A typical agency

A senior team at the pitch, a junior one on the work.

Local fit

Usarion

Arabic and English, Bahrain consent wording and clear Islamic and conventional banking labels designed in from the first screen.

A typical agency

One template from another country, edited for Bahrain in the last week.

AI

Usarion

AI speeds up the routine work. People make every decision.

A typical agency

Either no AI, or AI output passed on unchecked.

Ownership

Usarion

Figma files, code and design system handed over, yours to keep.

A typical agency

Files and know-how that stay with the agency.

After launch

Usarion

The same team stays on for new features and fixes.

A typical agency

A new team, or a new contract, for every change.

What we do for Manama teams

Seven services, one senior team

Everything between an idea and a product people trust. Designed, built, launched and branded.

MVP Development

The first working version of your product: scoped, designed, built and launched in six to ten weeks. Small enough to ship fast, solid enough to build the next version on.

UI/UX Design Services

Design capacity for products that already exist. Flows, screens, states and design systems, including the unglamorous screens that decide whether anyone stays past week one.

SaaS Website Design

A SaaS site has one job: make a stranger understand the product in eight seconds and book a call in thirty. Built in Webflow or Framer so your team can edit it.

Design services that scale

From a first audit to a product that grows

01

UX audit

A review of the screens costing you the most: where sign-ups stall, where support tickets start, and what to fix first. Often the right first step before a redesign.

02

User research

Interviews and usability tests with the people who use the product, booked in UK hours, so decisions rest on evidence rather than the loudest opinion in the room.

03

UI/UX strategy

Which problems to solve first, which screens they touch and what success looks like, agreed in writing before design starts.

04

Wireframes and prototypes

Clickable flows you can put in front of users and investors in days, so the expensive decisions are tested before they are built.

05

Scaling support

A design system, documented components and a team that stays on after launch, so every new feature looks like it belongs.

Building for Manama

What a product for Bahrain has to get right.

Bahrain's Personal Data Protection Law, Law No. 30 of 2018, asks a form to say whether each answer is required or optional, and what may follow if the person does not reply. Consent has to be explicit, clear and specific, and can be withdrawn at any time. Required marks, plain reasons and a visible way to take consent back are drawn into the form.

Bahrain's investment board says Islamic finance, conventional banking and digital banking all sit under the Central Bank of Bahrain. One app may offer more than one kind of product, so names, terms and disclosures have to say which kind a customer is looking at.

The national portal at Bahrain.bh lists e-services by category or by provider, and offers text size controls, high-contrast and dyslexia colour schemes and a listen-to-this-content button. People used to it expect the same care elsewhere, so a public service screen starts with those basics.

The tourism authority says public and commercial signs in Bahrain show Arabic and English together, and that English is widely spoken. People expect both languages on a screen too, with the choice in the same place on every page and remembered on the next visit.

What we design

Products we design for Manama teams

Industries

Sectors Manama builds in

  • 01

    Islamic and digital banking

A banking app earns its place when a customer can tell at a glance which product is which.

    • Onboarding and identity checks that keep people moving
    • Disclosures that are clear, not buried
    • Balances and risk made readable
  • 02

    Government e-services

A new service has to fit the way people already look for one on the portal.

    • Plain language for every reader
    • Accessible on any device
    • Forms that check as you go, not at the end
  • 03

    Trade and logistics

A shipment can pass through airport cargo, a port terminal and pre-clearance, and one view should follow it all the way.

    • Status at a glance, across every shipment
    • Dense tables that stay readable
    • Keyboard-fast for people who use it all day
  • 04

    Factories and industry

Orders leave by air, sea or land, so dispatch screens have to show which route each one is on.

    • Interfaces that hold up on the factory floor
    • Alarms and states nobody can miss
    • Data from many machines in one view
  • 05

    Tourism and hospitality

Visitors plan around heritage sites, souqs and festivals, and a booking page has to help people who have not decided yet.

    • Search to booking in as few steps as possible
    • Prices shown in full, early
    • Confirmations people can find again
  • 06

    Cloud and software

Government buyers are told to use cloud services, so a software product is judged as a service from the first login.

    • Onboarding that reaches value fast
    • Dense screens that stay readable
    • A design system the product can grow on

Why Usarion

Why Manama teams choose us

  1. Add three hours

Take the time in Manama and add three for Dhaka. Bahrain and Bangladesh both keep their clocks fixed, so the sum is the same in every month.

  2. Same day, both ends

A note you send in Manama's afternoon reaches Dhaka on the same calendar day, because the gap is only three hours.

  3. Inside your tools

Your Slack, your Figma, your repository. We join the way your team already works.

  4. One team, start to finish

The people on your first call are the people who design and build it. Nothing is handed on.

  5. Design and code together

We design the screens and ship the code behind them, so nothing is lost between the two.

  6. Proven across 200+ projects

Brand, product and web work shipped across SaaS, AI, fintech, healthcare and ecommerce.

How we work

Four steps, from brief to hand-off

  1. Step 01

    Discover

    Understand before drawing.

    • We read your deck, analytics and support tickets
    • One working session on what a good outcome looks like
    • Two to three days, not two to three weeks
  2. Step 02

    Plan

    Agree the scope in writing.

    • Screens listed and sequence set
    • Price fixed before work starts
    • A plan you can hold us to
  3. Step 03

    Design

Design where you can see it.

    • Work lands in Figma as it happens
    • You comment, we iterate the same week
    • Nothing unveiled at the end
  4. Step 04

    Hand off

    Built to be picked up.

    • Named layers and real components
    • Documented tokens and a walkthrough
    • Development by the same team, if you want it

FAQs

Questions from Manama teams

Yes. Bahrain is three hours behind Dhaka all year, and the same team handles the user experience, the interface design and the code.

Yes. Right-to-left screens are mirrored properly, not flipped: navigation, icons, numbers and charts each follow their own rules, designed alongside the English from the start.

Yes. Required and optional fields are marked, the reason for each question is stated, and withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it. Your legal adviser signs off the wording.

Yes. The screens that test customers see, including risk disclosures and plain information about the service and the test, are part of the design. Your legal adviser signs off the application and the wording; we make what customers see clear.

Yes: one clear flow where each product carries its own name, terms and disclosures.

Yes. Screens are drawn with a design system, so another country's language, formats and rules can be added without redrawing the product. Your legal adviser confirms what each country asks for.

With a 30-minute call, then a written scope and a fixed price. Once the scope is signed, work starts within days, not weeks.

Each project is quoted once, from a written scope, and the price does not move unless the scope does.

Yes. We keep what works, audit what does not, and move the product forward in stages so your users are never left behind.

Yes. Front end and integrations, by the team that designed it. If you have developers we hand over instead, with a system they can build from.

Yes, and it is often the cheapest way to start. A short audit tells you which three screens are costing you the most, and whether you need a redesign or just a fix.
